- This is a charging-first cable with USB 2.0 data (480 Mbps). It is not designed to drive displays, external GPUs or high-speed SSDs. For video output, use a USB-C hub.

- 240W requires both the charger and the device to support PD 3.1 EPR (48V/5A). With a standard 100W PD charger, this cable will charge at up to 100W — the LED display will show the actual wattage, which is normal.

- The LED screen is powered by the charging current itself — no battery, no on/off switch. It lights up while current flows and switches off when charging stops.

- The wattage shown reflects real-time negotiated power, which fluctuates as the battery charges (fastest when the battery is low, tapering as it fills).

- For safety, do not daisy-chain this cable through a non-compliant adapter.

- Avoid bending the cable within 1cm of the connector — that is the point of failure on most cables.

Specifications

The FTQ 240W USB-C to USB-C cable is built for the new generation of GaN chargers and high-power laptops. When paired with a PD 3.1 EPR charger and a compatible device, it delivers up to 240W — enough to charge a 16-inch MacBook Pro or a Windows gaming laptop at full speed.

The difference this version makes is small but useful: a tiny LED screen built into the connector shell shows the actual wattage the moment you plug it in. If you expect 100W from your GaN charger but the display reads 27W, you know instantly whether the charger, the cable, or the laptop is the bottleneck — no guessing, no unplugging to check the phone's battery settings.

A built-in E-Marker chip tells the charger how much power the cable can safely carry. The nylon braided jacket and aluminium shells hold up to daily bag-carrying, and the strain relief at each end resists the bend-point fatigue that kills most cheap cables.

Pick the length you actually use: 0.3m for travel and power banks, 1m for the desk, 2m for the living-room TV setup.

In the box: 1× FTQ USB-C to USB-C cable with power display, 1× quick-start guide.
